This Privacy Policy explains how Kig Law ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website or use our legal information and attorney-connection service. Kig Law is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

Information you provide. When you submit a case review request or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, mailing address, and a description of your situation. We also record which consent checkboxes you selected and when.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for and request that you not submit government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or detailed health records through our forms.

We use the information we collect to:

• review and respond to your case review request;
• evaluate the type of matter you describe and identify an independent licensed attorney in our network who handles that kind of matter;
• communicate with you by phone, email, or text about your request;
• send service updates and, only where you have separately consented, marketing communications;
• operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and service; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

With attorneys in our network. If your request indicates you would like to be connected with an attorney, we share the details of your request with the independent attorney or attorneys we believe handle that type of matter so they can evaluate and respond. Those attorneys handle your information under their own professional and privacy obligations.

With service providers. We use vendors that host our site, deliver email and text messages, and provide analytics or customer-support tooling. They may process information only as needed to perform services for us.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our service.

Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their own purposes.

Text message consent is collected separately and is never required to submit a request or to be connected with an attorney. If you consent, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. Records of your opt-in and opt-out are retained solely to document compliance and are not shared for any third party's own purposes.

Cookies help the site function and help us understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect site functionality. We honor browser-based opt-out signals where legally required.

We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to fulfill your request, to comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations, and to resolve disputes. Consent records for text messaging are retained as required by applicable telecommunications rules.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to marketing or text messages at any time. Some state laws, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia, grant additional rights such as the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Our service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
