Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kig Law website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, submitting a case review request, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Kig Law Is — and Is Not
Kig Law is a legal information and attorney-connection service. Kig Law is not a law firm, is not a lawyer referral service operated by a bar association, and does not practice law.
Nothing on this site and nothing communicated by Kig Law constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, or a recommendation about a course of action in your specific matter. Using the Service, submitting information through our forms, or speaking with our staff does not create an attorney-client relationship with Kig Law.
Attorneys in our network are independent, separately licensed professionals. They are not employees, partners, or agents of Kig Law. Each attorney is solely responsible for the legal services they provide, for their own professional conduct, and for any fee agreement they enter into with you. Kig Law does not supervise, direct, or guarantee the work of any attorney.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome or Match
We do not guarantee that we will be able to connect you with an attorney, that an attorney will accept your matter, or that any particular result will be achieved. Legal outcomes depend on facts and law specific to each situation.
4. Informational Content and Legal Deadlines
Guides, articles, and other resources on this site are general educational material. Laws differ by state and change over time, and general information may not apply to your circumstances. Legal claims are subject to deadlines, including statutes of limitations and notice requirements, that can bar a claim if missed. Do not delay seeking advice from a licensed attorney in reliance on anything published here.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current information and to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to submit another person's information without authority to do so, not to interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, and not to use automated means to scrape or overload the site.
You are responsible for maintaining copies of any documents you submit. Do not send sensitive originals, and understand that information submitted through a website is not protected by attorney-client privilege before an attorney-client relationship is established.
6. No Fee for Connection
Kig Law does not charge consumers a fee for a case review or for being connected with an attorney. Any fees for legal services are arranged directly between you and the independent attorney you choose to engage and must be disclosed to you by that attorney before you agree to them.
7. SMS and Text Message Program Terms
If you provide your mobile number and check the applicable consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated service updates and account notification text messages from Kig Law at the number provided. You may separately consent to receive marketing communications and promotions by text.
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and the status of your request.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to messages sent and received. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will stop sending further texts under that program. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at info@kiglaw.com or (404) 259-6996.
Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any products or services, and it is not required to submit a case review request or to be connected with an attorney. Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Supported carriers may change without notice. You must be the account holder or have authority to consent for the number you provide, and you agree to notify us if your number changes.
8. Consent to Contact
By submitting a request, you agree that Kig Law and, where you elect to be matched, the attorney we introduce you to may contact you by phone, email, or text at the contact information you provide in order to respond to your inquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time as described above or by emailing info@kiglaw.com.
9. Intellectual Property
The Kig Law name, logo, site design, and published content are owned by Kig Law or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. Republishing or redistributing content without written permission is not permitted.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kig Law will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, business, or legal rights, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or to services provided by any independent attorney. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kig Law and its officers, employees, and contractors from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date above will change. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
